During his 10 years in the industry, Scott has provided engineering services for the design, construction, and operations of a wide variety of industrial and food and beverage wastewater pretreatment plants. He has worked as a consultant, equipment supplier, and owner and understands the required connectivity between each role for a successful project delivery.
Scott believes a successful environmental engineering consultant must combine knowledge of physical, biological, and chemical treatment and removal processes and know how to leverage each process to provide both an economical and robust product to their client. He focuses on the food and beverage industry due to the diversity and difficulty of the projects he’s encountered—and it’s fascinating to see how the food we eat is made!
When he isn’t engineering solutions for challenging food and beverage problems, Scott enjoys spending time with his growing family and exploring all the Utah outdoors has to offer. He also likes catching the occasional football game and visiting new travel destinations.
